I am officially ready to QUILT FOR HIRE again!
We have moved into our Little Forever Home and my LongArm is set up and level!
Sooo... I have a QuiltyStudio again! It's a bit of a mess with lots of extra stuff that doesn't have a happy spot yet, but that's OK, it should be wonderful very soon.
This means I am able to help YOU finish some of Your UFOs! (Un Finished prOjects)

At this time, I am offering EdgeToEdge quilting. Why not Custom? You know I’m best known for doing custom work, and teaching LongArm skills, but right now, I also want time to bake cookies & HotCakes for the grandkids, play music with MrTallDarkHandsome&Helpful, and travel to have TatorTotHotDish with our folks back home... Yah sure ya betcha, now don'tcha know!
Like my Mama always says: "Find the Happy Medium." It really is wonderful to enjoy a balanced life and still be helpful to others too.
Choose from the Oodles of Digital Designs available out there. Tell me the name of the design you want, or send me a photo of it. If I don't already have it, I can buy it for my library.
I carry many designs from ChristyDillon (MyCreativeStitches.net), CeeTheo (aBitOrange.com), and AnneBright (AnneBrightDesigns.com); as well as KarenHogan, KarleePorter.com, IntellegentQuilting.com, and UrbanElementz.com.
Or Just Tell Me kinda-sorta what you want. Floral, geometric, swirly, patriotic, quick and easy, etc and I'll narrow the search for you, and have you choose from just a few digital designs.
If you're not sure what you want, Trust Me and my decades of HappyQuiltyClients. I can puzzle out a wonderful design to compliment your quilt!
Or you can pick one of my hand-guided FreeMotion designs. Modern straight-ish lines, Classic meander, loops, or Follow What's There; my famous WiggleDitch, funky feathers, happy flowers, or echos. Again, just tell me kinda sorta what you want!
SORRY, NO WOOL ... No wool appliqué, no wool batting. I still have allergic reactions to wool. If Dr Theo clears that up for me, I'll let you know!!
→Calculate the Cost of Your Quilt
I estimate most quilts at $35/SqYd for the stitching and the thread.
L x W / 1296 = Square Yards x 35= cost of quilting
Example: 60 x 80 = 4800 / 1296 = 3.7sy x $35 = $129.50
Some designs stitch out much quicker and start at $25-30/SqYd, so if you choose an open, less intricate design, your final cost will be lower than the estimate. (As I always say, give good estimates, and stay on or under budget!)
I am Not the Fastest option out there, nor am I the Cheapest option out there. But...
