THE PLAN is a very helpful Tool when you Stitch out designs on Real Fabric… especially for CUSTOM quilting.

Using CUSTOM LAYERS allows you to see ALL the Layers, or just the Layers you want to see, or just the Single Layer you need to Stitch.

Planning with Custom Layers allows you to:

• Audition Different Layers Easily,
• take photos of your Good Options,
• or even send photos for approval by clients.

Planning is different than Stitching. Fabric rarely stays exactly the way it was suppose to be… (ask me how I know! Yes, it happens to all of us.) So… when it’s time to STITCH designs, THE PLAN helps you SEE “what should be where”… THE PLAN helps us remember.

PaolaJo’s technique for THE PLAN keeps everything Together, to more successfully Modify designs to Play Nicely with the Reality of Fabric and the wonkiness of advancing all three layers of the Quilt sandwich.  (Have you ever set up a design for a quilt, only to find that some section needed to be ReSized or Rotated or Skewed or Moved… and then your whole layout was messed up?
